Travel Coffee Tumblers

Travel coffee tumblers are great for when you’re taking sips of coffee, tea, iced coffee, or other hot or cold beverages on the go. Coffee travel coffee tumblers and insulated coffee tumblers are especially handy when you’re at home, working at the office, or commuting and driving to and from destinations. Why are insulated coffee tumblers and coffee tumblers so important? They’re the difference between you enjoying your hot beverage on the go, drinking it lukewarm later, or wearing it and spilling it all over your car.

What’s the fuss about travel coffee tumblers? Compared to normal coffee tumblers, a good coffee tumbler is spill resistant, and if insulated, can keep hot drinks very hot and cold drinks nice and cold for hours. Coffee coffee tumblers and insulated coffee tumblers are by far more convenient then thermoses-insulated coffee tumblers can be grabbed and used by only one hand, an especially useful feature while in the car. They’ve got lids that are very effective in preventing drips and spills (picture an “adult version” of a sippy cup), so although you don’t usually have the option of tossing your coffee tumbler in a purse or bag, they wont make a huge mess if tipped over in a vehicle. And cleanup is easy-quality insulated coffee tumblers have smooth insides that are free of nooks and crannies, a quick rinse or even a cycle through the dishwasher gets them clean enough for next use.

For travel coffee tumblers, a screw on lid is recommended. We find that the “snap” on lids are cheaper and thinner, allowing for heat to easily escape. They’re also easier to accidentally knock off. We suggest a thicker screw on lid with a spring loaded sliding cover. Simply squeeze the handle to open the cover-don’t worry about coffee getting out, your coffee tumbler lid cover closes tight after you release the handle.

The best insulation is stainless steel, but an insulated travel coffee tumbler works just as well. If you choose a plastic coffee tumbler, select one that’s double-walled for better insulation. Be aware that many plastic coffee tumblers are harder to clean and can start to smell after a while. Ceramic coffee tumblers are beautiful doubled walled insulated travel coffee tumblers-they won’t affect the taste of your brew or beverage and can be heated up in the microwave. These are easy to take on the go and come with easily washable silicone covers.

Go with a one hand, screw down lid travel coffee tumbler with a raised lip-both leak proof and easy to clean, you’ll enjoy many delicious beverages on the go and anywhere you’d like.

Promotional Coffee Tumblers

Here is the good news: everyone has a coffee tumbler. It doesn’t matter whether you drink coffee or not, chances are promotional mugs have a special place in your home or office and they’re not going anywhere. Imagine that concept for your business and how an everyday habit can influence your potential clients to always keep you in mind – even when they’re drinking their morning coffee. With the ability to choose from several different styles you can speak to most any type of client: the professional, the traditionalist, or those who are always looking to the future.

It’s true that there are a lot of possibilities out there for coffee tumblers; so it can be difficult to determine which style to choose for your business and what type of imprinted coffee tumblers speaks to your clients. The traditionalist often will look for the type of coffee tumbler that is stout with a wide and ample handle. These cups are sturdy and time tested over a number of years to accommodate everyone. While stout, traditional promotional coffee tumblers can be used with your business, they are best used when your company is one that’s timeless and provides something people will continue to use for years like water, food, or if you’re a home builder.

The professional will often drink coffee from logo coffee tumblers that are a little more showy. With a slight funnel look to them, these mugs will often have some sort of stainless steel embellishment and can have an ergonomic design to the handle or mug itself. Primo mugs like these speak to the business person on a chic and sophisticated level that normal custom mugs don’t. Some other versions include a slightly rounded mug design with a curving handle and matte finish. The sophisticated mug is most likely best when coupled with a company that specialized in professional business – like a law firm.

Finally, people who are futuristic or scientific feel that drinking coffee is a timeless expression that will continue for years to come. This type of person likes the idea that coffee can be portable with personalized travel mugs that mimic much of what professionals like. Futuristic people like their coffee tumblers to work with mediums like ceramics and stainless steel. With options like a ceramic mug with stainless base, the extra wide latte mug, or the ceramic, matte finish mug it can be difficult to choose what might be appropriate for your company. The best place to find mugs like these will be in businesses that continuously reinvent themselves like the paper business or magazine business.

There are several different options to choose from when working with promotional mugs, but it’s wise to choose a model that best reflects your company’s personality. Coupling a smart mug with your business’s logo can be all you need in the way of advertising, but without a mug that makes sense, you can sink your ship before it’s had a chance to sail.

Leak Proof Coffee Tumblers

Are you tired of drinking cold coffee out of your leaky coffee tumbler? For years I suffered with my stainless steel coffee tumbler that leaked every time that I tipped it over-which happened every time that I used it. I tried just about every brand. While the nissan/thermos kept my coffee warm, it was not leak proof. It seemed like my desk and car were always wet with spilled coffee. My pants always had coffee stains on them.

Last winter, my friend asked me if I had tried the Contigo stainless coffee tumbler.  I told her that I had never seen or heard of it.  I bought two of them was so impressed, that I bought two more as back ups and for friends.

What is so incredible about these coffee tumblers is that they are guaranteed to be leak proof with their Auto Seal technology.  I often carry one in my back pack upside and to this day, I have never had a spill.

To drink from the tumbler you hold down a button on the side of the lid. The only thing I had to get used to was letting the tiny amount of liquid that would gather at the mouth opening divot drain before releasing the button, otherwise it flicks it up into your face!  The reason this happens is because the tumbler is vacuum sealed.  when released quickly, it erupts like an open pressure cooker.  My only complaint about the Contigo is that the coffee is too hot to drink immediately.   I open the lid many times to cool it off. How can you top that?  I mean, we want want hot coffee, right?

My wife is a total klutz when it comes to drinking and carrying a coffee tumbler.  She used to carry coffee in her purse!  I solved that problem with the Contigo.  My wife is also very forgetful.  I would make coffee for both of us first thing in the morning and she would not get around to drinking it for 3 or 4 hours.  Surprisingly, the Contigo coffee tumbler keeps hers warm.

Contigo makes these tumblers in silver, blue, and red.  If possible, stay away from the red and blue if you are very active and take your coffee tumbler everywhere you go because the paint will eventually chip away.  It’s too bad Contigo does not hard anodize the color to make it permanent.

Can you use a tumbler from Starbuck's for any drink?

Posted by Admin on 31 Dec 2011 | Filed under: Uncategorized

I know that if you buy a tumbler (or any kind of reusable cup) from Starbuck’s you can take it to any location and have them fill it up with regular brewed coffee with 10 cents off the price.
Can you only put coffee or tea in the tumbler, or can you put any type of drink they make in it, such as a latte or frappucino?

I have known a guy for a bit and I call him my sweetie cause he’s a very sweet man. I was wondering If a personalized coffee mug or a travel mug would be a good idea as a gift. I was gonna put "Sweetie" on the mug. I don’t know if that’s too simple and if I have to add more. Would a guy like to get a coffee mug? I was looking through the internet and thought this might be a good mug. http://www.personalizationmall.com/Personalized-Travel-Mug-Printed-With-Your-Message-i19800.item?productid=5330&sdest=Search&sdestid=18456546

Are travel mugs allowed on WestJet?

Are travel mugs allowed on WestJet?
I plan on having it empty through the security gate, and filling it afterwards.
Pretty sure the Toronto airport has a Tim Horton’s past the security gate. I know the St. Johns one does.
I figure they won’t mind as long as I buy it AFTER security check. (&I’m spending my money on them, of course)
But I’m not positive, I’d hate to waste money on coffee I’ll have to pour out before I board.

So, anybody know?
Thanks in advance!

How often should I change my travel mug?

Posted by Admin on 20 Dec 2011 | Filed under: Uncategorized

After using it 5 days a week, how long can you keep a travel mug? I don’t want bacteria to be there even though I wash it everyday.
